**GENERAL SUMMARY**

The Indirect Buyer will be responsible for sourcing requirements on time and in full for all indirect spend in collaboration with stakeholders to achieve objectives whilst continually developing and improving supply chain flexibility and performance.

The Indirect Buyer will also offer guidance and support to others within peer group and internal customer base; assume end-to-end procurement responsibility to meet or exceed customer expectations focusing on quality, delivery on-time ensuring Clyde Union gets best value for money and remain competitive. The role will provide and maintain accurate contracts and MOU’s for core suppliers.

In addition, the Indirect Buyer will gather industry feedback and advise what new goods and/or services are out there within their particular field.

**EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS**
- MCIPS or related degree level qualification.
- Relevant sourcing and end-to-end procurement experience.
- Contract management experience.
- Effective communication and networking skills with social confidence.
- Ability to make decisions, meet targets, and work under pressure.
- Ability to be an ambassador for Clydeunion; have a business-like approach using tack and diplomacy where required or appropriate.
