Demand Planner

Overview:
Zertus UK & Ireland is made up of Humdinger Foods, Kinnerton Confectionery and Lir Chocolates. We manufacture a range of products within the snacking and chocolate categories and our goal is to create innovative and distinctive products that delight our customers.

We currently have an opportunity for a
**Demand Planner **to join the Zertus team. This role can be based at one of our various snacking manufacturing sites across the UK (Hull, Heckington, Wirral) with the opportunity for hyrbid working after probation.

As a Demand Planner at Zertus, you will work at the front-end of the Supply Chain process, working with internal sales and planning teams, as well as external stakeholders, to predict the demand of our products, ensuring accurate production.

This role would suit someone with strong excel skills who is a pro-active problem solver and analytical thinker, looking for their next challenge in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of supply chain processes in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.

This role can be based at our various Uk manufacturing sites in Hull, Heckington or Fakenham.

**Responsibilities**:
**As a Demand Planner at Zertus you will be accountable for**:

- Forecast Accuracy
- Customer Service Levels
- Stock Metrics

**You will also**:

- Lead S&OP Forecast Challenge meetings with the sales team in your area, challenging, refining, identifying risks/opportunities and validating a rolling 18-month demand forecast.
- Manage forecast accuracy data to identify, report and act upon areas for improvement; enabling reduced stock obsolescence, improved stock availability and improved financial reporting
- Manage suppressed, excessive, launch and end of life forecasts with external and internal stakeholders, supporting stakeholders with inventory management tasks and reporting.
- Develop and maintain SKU hierarchy and category data to enable multi-level forecasting and reporting.

Qualifications:
**The ideal Demand Planner would have the following skills and experience**:

- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Analytical and numerate.
- Ability to present information and communicate complex concepts effectively with different stakeholders.
- Ability to form and maintain strong relationships internally and externally and engage stakeholders.
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Experience in a supply chain, commercial or finance environment

**Other desirable skills and experience**:

- Understanding of retail sector demand planning processes
- Previous experience operating within and S&OP process
- Food industry experience
