**The Role**:
The Claims Analyst role is responsible for the control and reconciliation of claims, ensuring accurate records of claims and statement of accounts for the prime contractors and supply chain partners are maintained.
The Claims Analyst will be responsible for the allocation of contract income. Reconciliations will take place at the beginning of each period/month to identify any variances and adjustments.
The Claims Analyst will extract and compile claims in line with the specific customer (contract commissioners) requirements.
The role will provide support to the Claims Manager and Self Billing Executives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- _The Claims Analyst is responsible for the accurate maintenance of claim records for the prime contracts and other external providers. _
- _The periodic reconciliation of claimed records to Orion to ensure the database provides an accurate reflection of actual claimed performance._
- _To prepare reporting on the supply chain claim cycle to monitor the efficiency of transaction processing and provider payment._
- _The extraction and compilation of all claims to be submitted to the Self Billing Executives to raise self-billed Invoices for submission to both Prime contractors and supply chain partners._
- _Act as point of contact for Supply Chain Management and the provider for claim-related queries_
- _Produce and maintain process documents._
- _Support the Claims Manager with implementation of newly awarded contracts._

**Skills & Experience**:
**Essential Attainments**:

- _Demonstrable experience in dealing with high volumes of data with excellent attention to detail._
- _Experience is the use of Microsoft Office 365, such as Excel, Word, Power Bi_
- _Excellent excel spreadsheet skills, comfortable with pivot tables and manipulating data_
- _Ability to produce complex reconciliations._
- _Experience of and an ability to quickly understand and follow complex systems and procedures._
- _Able to understand and process changing requirements in a fast-moving environment._
- _Proven track record of building professional relationships, both internally and externally, as a representative of Reed in Partnership and Reed Wellbeing_

**Essential Criteria**:

- _Excellent organisational and time management skills_
- _A proactive and flexible, ‘can do’ attitude._
- _A strong sense of honesty and integrity_
- _Be able to work under pressure and work to strict deadlines._

**Desirable Attainments**:

- Previous experience in a transactional finance role
- Experience in the use of Power Apps, Power Automate and/or coding.
- Experience of Oracle systems
- AAT qualified
