**Depot Manager**

**£36k + Car (fully expensed) + Benefits**

Our client is a leading FMCG Distributor and we are delighted to assist them in their search for an experienced Warehouse & Transport professional as they look to recruit a Depot Manager, to be based at their site in Nottinghamshire.

As Depot Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day to day operational and business requirements of the Warehouse & Transport functions. The depot has a headcount of 18 FTEs through 2 direct reports and operates on a Monday - Friday basis).

Responsibilities of the Depot Manager:

- Effect smooth implementation of Company Policies, Practices and Procedures.
- Accountable for ensuring all Warehouse Operational Staff (Transport and Warehouse), comply with all aspects of Legal and Company defined legislations and policies.
- Achievement of pre-determined profit & cost objectives.
- Delivery of routine KPI targets.
- Ensure that Company initiatives are monitored and driven effectively.
- Ensuring Site Stock levels are maintained relevant to pre-determined Stock Profile.
- Ensure targeted growth of Sales through continuing Business Development Program
- Ensure accurate periodic Stock audits are carried out in line with Company requirements.
- Undertake ongoing reviews of Site performance to ensure achievement of the Company’s pre-determined performance targets.
- Ensure effective delivery of excellent Customer Services at all levels reflecting a professional corporate image.
- To hold regular team briefings to keep everyone informed on performance and communicate important information and changes.
- From a similar FMCG environment, with an understanding of FMCG operations and a proven track record of driving through improvements in productivity.
- An Excellent People Manager with superb communication skills, target driven and highly motivated, you will be looking to achieve optimum results in a very customer-orientated business.
- Able to demonstrate a proven Process and Performance Improvement track record.
- Experience of Health & Safety management in a similar environment.
- Good working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
