Fabricator / Welder

**Location: Sandbach, Cheshire**

**Salary**:£11.50 - £20.00 per hour** + Bonus scheme + Signing bonus**

**The Role**:
They are looking for a **Fabricator / Welder **to join their team and shape steel structures and sheet metal fabrications to exact specifications.

**Responsibilities**:

- Interpreting technical drawings for accurate product preparation
- Conducting dimensional inspections before welding
- Ensuring precise work within tolerances
- MIG/TIG welding to high standards
- Collaborating with the team to address quality and efficiency concerns
- Validating products against drawings and data sheets
- Performing safety checks before commencing work
- Offering practical solutions to arising issues

**Requirements**:

- 3 years' experience in MIG welding steel
- 2 years' experience in fabrication
- Relevant qualifications/training in Sheet Metal Fabrication/Welding
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using measuring equipment
- Time-served apprentice or engineer (desirable)
- TIG welding experience (not essential)
