**Finance Assistant**

Do you want the chance to work for a global leader in the sector of systems and accessories for beverage dispensing?

Working within a small team for a Group with sites across the UK. The role is to provide support to the Finance function with key responsibilities; end to end management of accounts payable, bank reconciliations including accounts receivable postings, management of employee expenses and general ledger postings.

- **£25,000 - £27,000 per annum**
- The Job_
- Own and drive the finance tasks, to ensure record keeping and processes are completed in a timely manner.
- Daily update of the accounts payable ledger; invoice entry & approvals, payments proposals and processing plus supplier statement reconciliation.
- Daily bank statement management; enter all transactions in the ERP system and reconciliation.
- Processing and payment of employee expenses plus employee credit card reconciliations.
- Maintain the Financial schedule of lease commitments with supporting documentation.
- Complete and reconcile month end reports, including P+L and Balance Sheet reporting and banking commitments.
- Providing support and ad-hoc cover for transactional accounting tasks
- The Person_
- Manage and prioritize workload to ensure daily, weekly and monthly tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Work directly with suppliers and colleagues to resolve queries promptly.
- Good general knowledge of a Group Finance function, data and production.
- Experience using ERP system, financial month end closings and reconciliations to reports.
- Excellent computer literacy - Excel, PowerPoint, Word with Teams experience desired.
- Strong communications skills; the ability to build relationships with external supplier and internal customers
- The ability to communicate directly with external suppliers and internal customers across the Group
- Open minded, pragmatic, and flexible approach
- The ability to work within the team to improve processes and procedures
