The Dog Cabin is looking for a Grooming Assistant for our Thornton Cleveleys location. This position will be assisting the groomer, cleaning, bathing, drying.
also some dog walking and shop front meet and greet.
- It is essential the applicant is an animal lover, patient and reliable. Able to work hands on with all breeds.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the groomer with cutting and trimming of hair, fur, and nails
- Clean and maintain the salon.
- Maintain the grooming area and equipment
- Operate grooming equipment (e.g. trimmers, combs, brushes)
- Restock the grooming supplies
- Bath and dry dogs
- Assist with cleaning up after the animals and completing other cleaning duties as needed
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Work closely with other animal lovers and pet parents
- Work closely with a dog trainer, if so desired
- Provide exceptional customer service to our customers
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Able to learn about The Dog Cabin animal cruelty policies and procedures.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work any schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Animal handling experience is a plus

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £7.31-£11.19 per hour
