**Role - Support Worker**

**Salary - Starting Rate: £11.25 per hour plus £55 per sleep in.**

**Full Time 39 hours per week.**

Priority Childcare provides real support from real people. We care for children who have support needs associated with social, emotional and mental health difficulties, and work with them to help them meet their full potential and transition towards independence.

Ty George is a beautiful four-bedroom children’s home set in a peaceful location on the outskirts of the historical town of Bridgend. Located on two acres of land with its own driveway and spacious garden area, Ty George is in a perfect location for children to move towards a transition home, foster care or towards independence.

**So you might be wondering what you would be doing? A typical day will include**:

- Providing high quality bespoke care to the young people we support, including keeping accurate records.
- Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment, and that it feels like home.
- Being a positive role model to our young people and promoting their independence through a range of activities.
- General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
- Having fun with our young people

- Previous care experience is preferred but not essential, and it would be great if you have a current and valid UK driver's licence.
