Domestic Cleaner

St Chamond's Care Home is based in Prestatyn.

We currently have an opportunity for a Domestic to join our team. Part time position available, 3-4 days a week, 9am-3pm. To include some weekends. Occasional cook cover required during absence and annual leave. Food hygiene certificate preferred but can be arranged. An interest in cooking required.

**About the Role**

Duties to include:

- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and Laundry.
- Ensuring the home is clean, pleasant and safe for the residents in their rooms and communal areas.
- Kitchen cover on occasion to cook for 19 residents and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
- Documenting all actions by completing relevant form and records
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

**About you**
- Is Able to work well in a team but also feel confident to use their own initiative.
- Is able to demonstrate effective communication skills
- Has a naturally caring attitude
- Is honest & reliable
- Experience in a care home environment preferable but not essential.
