**Level 2 Hospitality Team Member Apprentice**

**Level 2 Production Chef Apprentice**

As a Production Chef, you'll be at the heart of the kitchen, working with centrally developed standardised recipes and menus, producing food often in high volumes. You will need organisational skills, accuracy, attention to detail and a desire to be mindful of sustainability and the environment.

**Reports to**: Senior Production Chef

**Course duration**: 12-18 Months

**Expected hours**: 30 - 40 hrs

**Location**: Skern Lodge Outdoor Activity Centre, Appledore

**Future Prospects**

This course gives you the foundation of knowledge to work within kitchens across the country, from fine dining, gastropub, cruise ships and more. Each module, mixed with your experiences of high-volume cooking will propel you into the culinary world, moving into more senior positions as your career develops.

**Entry requirements**

Minimum of grade 3 (C) in English & Maths GCSE OR Functional Skills level 1

With our support, those who do not have a grade 4 or Functional Skills level 2, will need to retake during courses to pass the apprenticeship.

**Teaching Provided**
- 1-2-1 teaching and observations with a training specialist to support you on a one-to-one basis regularly.
- Apprentices will receive tutorials regularly. With 1-2-1 tutorial time remotely with their specialist trainer.
- E-learning: We provide an e-learning platform with work and activities for apprentices to complete.

**Things to consider**

This is a physical and active role and you will need to be alert and have the ability to get involved. Have you already got relevant knowledge or experience in hospitality?
