General Warehouse Assistant

**Location**: Standish, Wigan (Relocating to Adlington, Chorley in approximately 2 months)

**Position**: Warehouse Operative (Full-Time or Part-Time)

We are a dynamic and growing company seeking motivated individuals to join our warehouse team as Warehouse Operatives. The role involves a variety of tasks including picking, packing, and operating forklifts. If you have prior experience in a warehouse setting, especially with forklift operation, we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities**:

- Efficiently pick and pack products for shipment
- Operate forklifts to move and stack goods
- Ensure accurate inventory management and stock control
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse environment (Forklift experience is highly desirable)
- Computer literate
- Valid forklift license/certification (if applicable)
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods
- Good communication skills and a team player
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic

**Location**: Please note that while the current location is Standish, Wigan, we will be relocating to a new facility in Adlington, Chorley in approximately 2 months. Applicants should be willing to work at both locations during the transition period.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week

**Salary**: £7.27-£11.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wigan: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
