Job Vacancy - Workshop Controller

We are advertising for a Workshop Controller for our Lee Mill Depot.

The job involves the day to day running of the HGV workshop & office on a day shift basis. This is a office based role working in co-operation with our 3 technicians & our test lane administrator whom also assists with this role.

Hours: 8am - 4.30pm

Day to Day tasks will encompass the following;
- Call handling for work bookings & breakdowns
- Monitoring & planning of inbound/outbound vehicles for repair
- Liaising with customers for future bookings
- Assigning jobs to technicians to ensure good work flow
- Updating customers where necessary with work progression
- Obtaining work authorisations where necessary or producing estimates
- Picking of stock from stores for jobs in progress
- Liaising with the Exeter Parts Department for pricing of parts or arranging customer collections
- Pre-Checking of completed job sheets to ensure all work is completed & paperwork is complete before sending for central pricing
- Day to Day running of MOT Lane bookings when the ATF Lane Administrator is away.
- Various other miscellaneous duty as required to ensure smooth running of the depot.

Hourly Rate: £13.50 - £17.00 Dependant on Suitability to role. Wages are paid weekly.
