**Tenant Support Worker - Newport**
We have an exciting opportunity for a Tenant Support Worker to join our busy support services team in Newport - The Lighthouse Project.
The Lighthouse Project is a team of 9 Support Workers who provide housing-related support to adults & families living in Newport who are facing potential homelessness or struggling to maintain/sustain their tenancies. To help us achieve positive outcomes we work closely with many organisations e.g. Citizens Advice, Job Centre Plus, DWP, Local Authorities & Social Services to ensure that the people we support have access to all the relevant services that are available to them.
Our Office is based in Stow Park Church Community Centre which is a bustling hot spot for the local community providing many services including a thriving Foodbank that reaches out across Newport to those most in need.
Being a support worker is a challenging but rewarding role that provides an opportunity to make a real and positive difference in someone else's life every day.
So, if you have any relevant support work experience and a passion for supporting people or are simply interested in a career change and want to play a rewarding part in the ongoing success of The Lighthouse Project Team, then we would love to hear from you.
We work in an agile way so this role can be delivered as part of a blended approach requiring some location work at our Newport Office and the option to work from home.
So, if you can be authentic in your work, and enjoy engaging with a diverse range of people we’d love you to take a look at the Job Pack and to apply.
