Summary

We are a busy primary school with a both aged 2 and aged 3/4 nursery classes. We have 480 children on roll aged between 3-11 years old.
We are looking for a Lunchtime Welfare Assistant who is:

- calm and supportive with pupils
- will develop positive relationships with adults and children
- will support children in developing social skills
- is able to help to organise and participate in playground games
- will manage behaviour in accordance with the school behaviour policy.

We encourage healthy lifestyles and the children are engaged in sporting and outdoor activity and play during the lunch hour. This role is to promote the lunch time experience for all children by supervising the lunch queue, helping younger children when required, supervising outdoor activities, administering first aid, set up and clean down of the school hall.

All training is provided, there is statutory safeguarding and health and safety training which must be undertaken by all staff employed in schools. Additional hours to complete this training will be paid at the hourly rate.
