**Personal Assistant / Carer (Self Employed)**

**Rate of Pay: £14.50 per hour**

**Hours**:Fridays 4-6.30pm, Saturdays 10-12.30pm plus 4-6.30pm, Sundays 10-12.30pm

(15 hours per week)

The elderly lady lives alone in Hoole, Chester and uses an electric wheelchair to mobilise.

Experience is preferred but not essential. It’s just as important to have the right values and a caring and practical approach, in a job where you can be proud.

**Overview of Tasks**:Duties will include:

- Overseeing safety whilst transferring
- Overseeing safety when showering and toileting
- Medication prompts
- Providing/cooking meals from scratch
- Shopping and supporting to access the community in client’s mobility car on occasions
- Companionship
- To help and assist with daily tasks as they arise
- To undertake any reasonable task requested by the client

**Person Specification**
- Full, clean driving licence and able and willing to drive client’s car on occasions
- Ability to use own initiative
- Honest, reliable, efficient, confident and a good timekeeper
- Good sense of humour
- Non smoker
- DBS check required once successful
- Appointment of applicant is conditional upon receipt of satisfactory references
- Client’s family will be conducting the interviews.

**It is a requirement, due to the nature of this role, that any applicant must have been vaccinated against COVID 19**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 5 - 15 per week

**Salary**: £14.50 per hour
