Graduate Finance Analyst
£26,000 - £30,000 + study support + hybrid working
Aila is excited to announce that it’s in an exclusive partnership with a leading, listed, energetic and multi-site leisure business in the recruitment of an ambitious Graduate Finance Analyst, east of Milton Keynes on a permanent basis. They’re turnover isc.£80m, they’re excited about the future and operate through more than 40 sites across the UK with plans to increase this. They have a very supportive and inclusive culture in their head office and the commercial finance team are looking for somebody thatis ambitious and keen on qualifying with them through a generous study package.
We’re looking for a bright and ambitious recent graduate in accounting or related degree. You don’t necessarily need to have any accounting experience as that can be taught in the role. The most important thing is you are a quick learner with the desire towork for a multi-site, listed business and have an ambitious mindset where you want to start your ACCA or CIMA and qualify in the next few years.
You will play a key role in reporting financial and non-financial information to senior stakeholders across the business. You will be a confident and assuring individual with good Excel skills and the ability to build relationships across the wider business.A strongly analytical mind and a problem-solving mindset is essential as the business is continuously changing and it’s a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

- Provide timely and accurate analysis and information to support business decisions
- Help create site P&L budget / quarterly forecasts, demonstrating an understanding of the key drivers, to inform local operational and strategic decision making
- Identify, challenge, and proactively satisfy internal customer requirements to provide information, interpretation and insight to the business and site teams to promote effective delivery of site performance
- Continuously review business practices to make recommendations for changes which will enhance cost efficiency
- Produce extracts and analysis to prepare weekly management accounts

To be successful in this role, you will be a team player with strong Excel skills and have a desire to progress with your studies and qualify.
