**Location**: Stockton-on-Tees, Durham University International Study Centre

**Salary**:up to £32.28 per hour (DOE)

You will play a key role by contributing to the development of teaching materials and formative assessment.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- Delivering modules (face-to-face) to international students studying on programmes offered by the Centre and assisting with the development of modules.
- Developing modules from module specifications. This will include schemes of learning along with appropriate development of learning resources.
- Preparing module examinations and other forms of formative and summative assessment, marking and providing feedback to students.
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of the Centre’s virtual learning environment (VLE). Facilitating student access to same.
- Providing input for related modules to the annual review and reporting process.
- Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date record of student attendance and performance.
- Providing, when/if required, academic learning support to a small number of students.
- Participating in regular meetings with teaching and support staff.
- Supporting various student engagement activities around the ISC.
- Attending lectures given by Durham University to support student progression.

**ABOUT YOU**
- A recognised teaching qualification (Essential)
- Teaching experience delivering Geography programmes within a Sixth Form, Further Education or Higher Education context (Essential)
- Teaching experience delivering other modules within the Arts and Humanities (Desirable)
- Experience working with international students (Desirable)
