Mother's Help Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and compassionate individual to join our household as a Mother's Help. This role will primarily involve maintaining a clean and organised home environment, with additional responsibilities for occasional childcare as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning Duties: Perform thorough cleaning of the entire home, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces Launder and fold clothes, linens, and towelsClean and maintain bathrooms, ensuring they are spotless Load and unload the dishwasher, and handwash delicate itemsOrganise and tidy living spaces, bedrooms, and playrooms Restock household supplies as needed

Childcare Duties:
Provide attentive care and supervision for children when parents are unavailable Prepare nutritious snacks and meals for children Engage children in age-appropriate activities, games, and playtime Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times

Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous experience in domestic cleaning and childcare roles is preferred. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Patience, energy, and a genuine love for working with children. Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of the family's privacy Flexibility to work varying schedules as needed. Basic knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.

Additional Information:
This is a part-time and full-time position, depending on the family's needs Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications We have small friendly dogs in the household. Own car required.

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Nannying: 1 year (preferred)
- childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
