Due to continued investment and organic growth, we are currently looking to add a Freight Forwarder at our Dover office. You will have the opportunity to be part of a highly efficient logistics operation that focuses on exceeding customer's expectations and giving the highest levels of customer service.

As a member of our Freight Forwarding team at DFDS you will be tasked with creating customer and haulier relationships, taking on work, and selling it to a third party. Collaborating with contracted clients to boost route options, and DFDS fleet vehicles to help reduce any empty legs. Working 4 on 4 off 07:00 - 19:00, you’ll be communicating with customers along with 3rd party hauliers when joining a dedicated team, assisting the planning department, delivering high standards of service whilst liaising with clients regarding potential issues.

**The Role**:

- Day-to-day running of the Freight Forwarding Department within the Dover office
- Developing relationships with both customers & third-party hauliers
- Liaise with sub-contractors to arrange carriage of goods
- Monitor Customer Service Satisfaction
- Organise operational workflow to meet customer timeframes
- Ensure all Company policies are followed
