**About The Role**

**Job Purpose**

To support the site materials Team Leader and the factory lines with supply of materials on a Just in Time (JIT) philosophy.

**Daily Duties**:

- Ensure that safety procedures are being adhered to.
- Ensure safe systems of work are adhered to, as per our Risk Assessments and Method Statements dictate.
- ** **Upkeep cleanliness of work areas and associated equipment.
- Checking daily progress of Factory production and planning materials accordingly
- Acting, where necessary, to keep production on schedule.
- Checking quality and state checks of material.
- Check that equipment and storage is efficient and maximised.
- Communicate requirements with stores DC, Team Leader, Foreman, and other operatives.
- Raise and complete appropriate documentation to move materials.
- Assist Materials Team Leader with site materials as required.
- Any other duties, as agreed with Team Leader, Foreman, and Managers.

**Responsibilities**:

- HS&E for areas of operation
- Ensure Just in Time (JIT) philosophy with regards to material stock are adhered to.
- Ensure that material is correctly located for use with current production on all lines.
- Upkeep and maintenance of all areas responsible for
- Ensure that materials are a quality standard and fit for use to technical specifications.
- Make sure supply and stock procedures adhered to.
- Meet agreed production material targets daily.
- Monitoring material usage and restock daily on lines and in factory racking.

- Experience in stock and material management
- Experience with warehouse or factory material handling
- Personable

- Forklift Licence
- Construction experience
- Supply and procurement qualifications and or experience
- Planning qualifications and or experience
- Experience with working in a high-pressured environment with time critical KPIs
