**Requirements**

**The main responsibility of a Lettings Consultant is to build a pipeline of completed lets, by understanding the needs and requirements of landlords, qualifying tenants in order to match them to the right property and negotiating the terms and managing that property throughout the duration of the tenancy.**

**As a Lettings Consultant your main responsibilities will be to;**
- Build relationships with clients to establish trust and rapport
- Generate & conduct viewings and market appraisals for residential properties
- Maintain exceptional levels of customer service throughout the process & build long standing successful relationships
- Registering deposits
- Booking and conducting property inspections
- Negotiating tenancy extensions and/or renewals
- Co-ordinating with contractors, to manage maintenance and/or repair issues at properties
- Deposit returns
- Resolving rental arrears
- Processing eviction requests
- Ensuring properties meet all regulatory health and safety standards
- Completing all check in and check out procedures,

**What we are looking for**:

- Proven working experience as a Lettings negotiator in the property industry with a solid sales record of successful deals
- A good understanding of the residential lettings sector, including the local market, key legislation influencing the industry and marketing and sales strategies
- Able to work independently and as part of team, with strong relationship building skills
- Able to listen, and maintain regular communication with clients and colleagues
- Tenacious and resilient with a drive to succeed
- Pleasant and trustworthy manner
- Confident IT skills, able to work on Microsoft and bespoke programs with accuracy
- Full, manual, clean driving licence

**Salary**: From £20,000.00 per year
