As Head of Bars you will lead the commercial strategy and implementation for the bars in Hickory’s along with driving the drinks proposition forward. Working alongside the Bar Training team you are a key player in our central team, supporting the bar and restaurant teams to ensure they meet the high quality and operational standards we aim for at Hickory’s.

As the fastest growing, independent Southern style Smokehouse group in the UK, Hickory’s is really going places - and we want to take you with us. From industry leading training to epic enrichment and progression opportunities, we invest as much in our teams as we do in our food, brand and overall guest experience.

**The Role**
- You will visit each restaurant regularly, working to the needs of the business, giving feedback and support on all elements of the bar operations to the operations and training teams.
- Supporting the Bar HOD’s, General Managers and Operations Team with stocks for the business ensuring any supplier or systems issues are reported and dealt with accordingly.
- You are the key contact with our drinks suppliers, continuously reviewing supplier contracts whilst also maintain exceptional relationships and helping to facilitate added value for the business.
- Be aware of daily operational challenges relating to the bar and drinks side of the business to enable continuous improvement an development.
- To constantly analyse our drink menu’s offerings, ensuring GP is in line with the operational strategy.
- You will complete regular bar walk-arounds ensuring each restaurant is maintained to the highest of standards, promoting the safety of team and guests alike, as well as ensuring the restaurant is set up for success for external visits such as EHO.
- Working alongside the Property Team to ensure the design and set up of the bar for new restaurant openings is industry leading.
- Working alongside the procurement team having accountability for glassware and drinks related consumables across the business.
- To be an ambassador for our culture and values, always portraying an authentic positive attitude.

- You will have excellent communication skills; ensuring you aid in the cohesive working relationships of the wider ops and training team.
- Working alongside the training team to ensure we are constantly striving to improve our bar teams knowledge and practical skills whilst supporting all restaurants with the implementation of new drinks menus or business changes. Always looking to organise the most inspirational supplier trips out there
