**JOB DUTIES**:

- To machine high precision components from engineering drawings by operating various manual grinding machines.
- Be responsible for inspecting own work using standard engineering measuring equipment.
- Work under own initiative to meet production targets.
- Be responsible for keeping high health and safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Take part in daily team meetings.
- Assist other team members as and when required.

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum level of GCSE or O Level maths.
- Be able to utilize tools for optimum productivity.
- Must be able to read standard engineering drawings.
- Must be skilled in the use of standard engineering measuring tools, e.g. External micrometers, Bore micrometers, Depth micrometers, Dial indicators.
- A high level of mechanical aptitude.

**GENERAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
