Production Assistant & Fabric Cutter

The Production Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing process in a production environment. The Production Assistant will be provided with full training on all job responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist in the manufacturing process by performing tasks such as blind assembly, material handling, equipment set-up, and basic machine operation.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure that production goals are met and maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure that products meet the required standards.
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment to ensure that they are free of debris and in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure that production goals are met and any issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Identify and report any machinery or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor or maintenance team.
- Ensure that all materials and products are properly labeled, stored, and accounted for in accordance with company policies.
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), reporting any accidents or injuries, and participating in safety training programs.

Job Requirements:

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Willingness to comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
- Full training will be provided on all job responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.

Physical Demands

The Production Assistant will be required to stand for extended periods of time. They will be required to use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to perform their job duties. The Production Assistant will also be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots when necessary.

**Salary**: £10.50-£12.00 per hour
