Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working with a Midlands based housing association to recruit to a Handyman to work on their supported living properties.

The role is originally offered on a 6 month basis, however, may materialise into a permanent position.

Travel will be required mainly across Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire

**Responsibilities of the Handyman include**:

- Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs across supported living properties
- Holding responsibility for minor joinery, plumbing and maintenance works, including removing any waste from site
- Works include; changing toilet syphons, resealing shower trays, internal painting and decorating, basic tiling, changing light bulbs and adjusting doors and windows
- Ensuring that appointments are kept and repairs are carried out promptly within appropriate time scales
- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure maintenance work and repairs are carried out promptly and efficiently
- Completing documentation and job tickets on appropriate systems, relating to materials and time spent
- Managing materials and ensuring stock is maintained
