**Overview**

City Recruitment Group are recruiting for an Immediately available Warehouse to work for an established food manufacturing business on a Permanent basis. Reporting into the Warehouse Manager, this role is paying £9.50 per hour, Monday to Friday on site.The working hours are 17:30pm
- 7:30am. You**MUST** be Licensed to drive reach truck, counterbalance truck and PPT’s or VNA.

**Main purpose of the role**:
To assist in the day-to-day Warehouse Operation. To be flexible in your approach to the various tasks involved from receiving of goods, stock allocation, picking, finished goods and dispatch functions. To help control stock accuracy, integrity, securityand traceability. To work as a team to complete all warehouse tasks on a daily basis. To work as a team to promote a safe working environment. To have a pro-active approach to Food Safety.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and complete warehouse orders according to schedules.
- Feed production and remove finished products and associated paperwork.
- Receiving and processing of all warehouse products (picking, unloading, labelling and storage)
- Perform warehouse inventory checks and keep standards high for audits.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and help to optimize space utilization.
- Ensure all tasks within your area of responsibility are completed on a daily basis.
- Ensure tasks executed are timely and accurate
- Ensure accuracy of all data to and from production/warehouse
- Ensure full traceability of stock at all times
- Report to line managers any stock discrepancies daily
- To help out in other areas of the warehouse as per business needs.
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
- To work as part of the team and be a contributor, where possible, to suggest, support and innovate new ideas.
- To work in an effective manner by performing duties in such a way that may add value to the product, operation or company.
- Licensed to drive reach truck, counterbalance truck and PPT’s or VNA.

- Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to **health**.
- To work in a safety conscious, sensible manner that is in accordance again with company procedures and in accordance with received training.
- To ensure that all hazards are reported to your Supervisor immediately.
- To operate no machinery that are not guarded correctly.
- To work in an efficient manner by performing duties in such a way that will not affect the environment negatively, waste materials unnecessarily, damage company property or affect the success of the team of which one is a member and a leader.
- To be proactive in managing your personal health, safety and wellbeing and that of your colleagues**.**:

- Communicate and co-operate with supervisors and co-workers.
