**Job summary**:
The work is varied and includes the assessment of individuals, the identification of key risks to their functional safety the identification and delivery of equipment suitable to meet their disability needs and ensure that it can be used safely. It would be advantageous to have a knowledge of disabling condition, a background in care or of equipment used for disabling conditions and its uses to promote personal independence for the client or their carer. You must be physically fit, able to drive, hold a clean driving licence and the ability to drive a range of vehicles from a car to a large van an advantage.

Knowledge and understanding of Health and Community Services requirements would be an advantage as would be experience of team working and networking with other agencies and departments.
