**Job Title**: Technical Assistant/Customer Support

**Reporting to**:Technical Quality Manager

**The role**:
The purpose if the role is to assist in maintaining a programme of quality assurance activity by ensuring that products manufactured by GO Superfoods are safe, legal and meet or exceed customer expectations as and when directed.

Provide technical support to B2B Sales and DTC sales team through responding to technical queries and customer inquiries, completing SQA and maintaining customer complaint databases. They play a crucial role in ensuring smooth technical operations and customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities/accountabilities**:
**Quality Management Inbox & KPI**
- First point of contact for technical enquiries coming through a Quality Inbox.
- Log the requests and queries from internal and external customer.
- Raise tickets and allocate the tasks among the technical team as per the agreed individual targets on a weekly basis.
- Monitor deadlines with the customers & plan the workload.
- Complete the customer information questionnaires within agreed deadlines.
- Setting, implementing, and monitoring quality KPIs on site with the incentive to improve product quality across all ranges.

**Customer Support**
- Respond to customer technical enquiries within agreed timeframe
- Completing customer own format documents for independent customers (For example SAQ, product specification, GMO document, allergen document, etc Maintaining the customer questionnaires database
- Provide support to the commercial and marketing team to verify regulatory compliance of information for Amazon, Go Superfoods websites and product technical data sheets.
- Investigating customer complaints including trending and review.

**Non-Conformance & Complaints Management**:

- Log all customer complaints and track all customer complaint queries.
- Product Damages and Non-Conformance Reporting: Report any damage or non-conformances identified during fabrication audits to the appropriate manager for timely resolution.
- Non-Conformance Investigation and Closure: Investigate non-conformances to identify root causes and close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in a timely manner to prevent recurrence.

**Quality Inspections and Product Release**
- Product release. Review: Scrutinize CoAs associated with incoming traded goods and raw material to ensure they align with the required specifications before release for sale to customer.
- Product Inspection: Conduct thorough quality inspections on raw materials and finished goods to verify their compliance with established food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Packaging approval: Evaluate pre-printed packaging against approved artwork to identify any issues related to food safety, quality, and compliance with food laws. Engage with suppliers to gather necessary information and address concerns.
- New Material Approval: Collaborate with the Technical Manager to approve or reject new raw materials, copacker and packaging materials, ensuring they meet the company's strict quality standards.

**Sample Preparation and Submission**:

- Prepare samples carefully and submit them to external laboratories
- Monitor and track progress in testing to ensure results are reported within agreed time.

**Additional Duties**:

- Departmental Support: Perform other tasks as assigned to support the department's goals and contribute to the overall success of the QA/QC team.

**Qualification**
- Qualifications including Food Hygiene, HACCP, Food Safety etc. are all desirable.
- IT literate including Microsoft Word and basic excel essential
- Data & Digital skills; Power BI, Excel, Google Data Studio, Coding added advantage
