- Duties & Responsibilities

**Purpose**

Visit SSR offshore worksites and assess the condition of equipment, as well as the crew’s ability to operate the equipment to the safety and operational standards expected by both SSR and its customers.

**Location**
- Requires daily onsite attendance; this is not a remote-work position
- Ability to travel domestically and overseas without constraints on duration including offshore travel.

**Functions**

ESSENTIAL
- Travel worldwide without constraints on duration.
- Assess equipment condition and personnel competency using provided checklists.
- Assess personnel’s adherence to OI Life Saving Rules.
- Photograph equipment to validate the responses entered in the checklists.
- Provide guidance to offshore personnel with regard to SSR maintenance standards.
- Provide guidance to offshore personnel with regard to SSR safety and operations standards.
- Interview customer representative and get feedback about SSR performance.
- Create a report and photo layout that conveys the result of the audit.
- Present audit reports to SSR management and the onshore team responsible for managing the offshore worksite.
- Stay breast of SSR technology development.
- Maintain all training and accreditation required for working offshore.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilties.
- Qualifications

**Qualifications**

REQUIRED
- A minimum of three years’ experience operating ROV systems offshore, or
- A minimum of three years’ experience in technical auditing.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Must be able to obtain a valid Passport and any other regionally mandated offshore work requirement documents as appropriate.
- Ability to travel worldwide without constraints on duration.

PREFERRED
- Experience operating and maintaining ROV systems.
- High school diploma or GED.
