Ks2 Teacher

Passionate KS2 Teacher required for a SEN School who cater for young people between the ages of 10-16 who have a EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan).

Pupils have varying abilities with a range of special needs (SEN) including Autism (ASC), attachment disorders and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).

We are looking to appoint an inspiring and ambitious Teacher/Tutor who has a proven record in raising attainment. You will be working with young people across KS2 and KS3.

You will be an excellent practitioner and will participate in developing primary teaching with KS2 and KS3. You will also have a tutor group and will have a strong commitment to the wider pastoral role including delivering PSHE.

Key areas of work will include:

- Teaching the Primary and modified KS3 curriculum to drive up the quality of outcomes
- Positively contributing to the quality of teaching and learning within the school
- Supporting the implementation of our whole school Literacy strategy
- Actively promoting innovation and creativity with a SEN focus across the school
- Being a proactive form tutor and delivering tailored PSHE as part of this role
- Focusing on developing the needs of the whole child

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
