**Recycling Operative**

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a bespoke business who are on the lookout for a hard working Recycling Operative.
You will be taken under the wing of experts within the Metal Recycling industry offering support and training to ensure you have a successful, long-term career.

**Benefits**:

- Permanent role
- Overhead crane and FLT training provided on site

**Pay Rate / Hours**:

- £10.51 - £11.40 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- Days: 7am - 5pm OR 6:30am - 2:30pm / 2pm - 11pm (rotating)

**Overtime available when required**:

- Saturday: Time & Half
- Sunday: Double Time

**Main duties of the job**:

- Use of an overhead crane to move and separate metal waste
- Sortation of raw materials in the yard to ensure copper, lead, rubber and various other materials are separated
- Picking materials from a production belt to ensure the purest amounts of copper are passed through to production
- Complete final quality checks to ensure ONLY the purest forms of copper are fed through to the granulator
- Bagging up copper granules ready for despatch
- Ensure the working area is kept clean and tidy as possible at all times

**Skills Required**:

- Previous experience within a yard, scrap or recycling environment would be ideal but not essential
- Own transport would be a benefit due to location
- Resilient, proactive attitude towards work
- Excellent eye for detail
