This role is a brilliant opportunity for someone to join our business and work with multiple internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers who are critical to our supply chain. This means that you will be extremely well placed in your first role with Imerys to understand what we do and how we do it and to build great working relationships across the company.
As a Logistics Co-ordinator you will be planning and co-ordinating the movement of our quarried minerals from our Devon and Cornwall sites to our port and beyond. It is a busy and varied role and you will be involved with every aspect of the movement of our products which will include order management, transport planning, forecasting and scheduling shipping, managing and recovering costs and some project management.

This is a permanent position, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday - there is some flexibility around when you start and finish your day.
In return we ask for
You to have a background in transport planning, logistics co-ordination (any sector) or freight movement. Even better if you have exposure to working in a port environment or experience of chartering shipping - but this is not essential. More important to us is the right attitude, a desire to learn and that you want to be part of a great team. Of-course we are also looking for you to be logical, organised, a great communicator and someone who can get things done within given time frames
