**Nursery Assistant**

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds required
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions (summer months)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team required
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 12 noon (no weekends)

**Responsibilities**:

- Organize and maintain inventory of nursery stock, including plant material, trees, shrubs, etc.
- Maintain the appearance of the nursery by maintaining the grounds and grounds upkeep, picking up trash, etc.
- Assist with general shop duties such as building trays, boxes, etc.
- Work closely with the landscape team on maintenance projects including but not limited to watering and pruning tasks

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.00 per hour

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
