Assessment Team Social Worker - Children's Services
Location: Midlands (East & West)
Pay: £38-40p/h
The Assessment Team in Children's Services is responsible for conducting assessments of children and families in order to determine their needs and develop appropriate support plans. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced social worker to joinour team.
As a member of the Assessment Team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting assessments of children and families to determine their needs and develop support plans
- Working closely with other professionals, including health, education, and voluntary sector workers, to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
- Providing support and guidance to families to help them address any challenges they may be facing
- Undertaking child protection investigations as required
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A qualified social worker with a degree in social work and current SWE registration
- Experience of working with children and families in a social care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and professionals
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
