Employee Benefits Pensions Consultant

Helping employers and Trustees with all aspects of their employee benefits arrangements in a practical, cost-effective and tailored manner. They offer a unique approachto pensions actuarial and consulting, pensions administration, investment advisory, reward & benefits, and wealth management.
With a team of c800 people across nine offices, they are focused on utilising the latest technology to back a client-focused approach.
You will be responsible for delivering the highest quality of client services to both existing and new clients. Reporting directly to Head of DC Consulting.
Key Requirements:
- Wide Industry knowledge with at least 5 years of pensions/benefits experience with an Employee Benefits Consultancy, National IFA, or Life office
- Proven sales track record
- Experience of developing new relationships
- Commercial / Entrepreneurial - advanced level
- Communication / Influence skills - advanced level
- Technical skills and knowledge advanced level
- Proven Client Relationship Management Experience
- Experienced in DC Pension's
- Group Risk and Healthcare products
- Experience in Flexible Benefits
- Team player
Desirable Experience
- ASFA/FSFA/Chartered or PMI Equivalent
- Prospecting skills + Networking
- Previous Sales Experience with an excellent track record
- Trust Based Pensions experience
- Flexible Benefit Consulting experience
- Employee Financial Education
- Pension/Benefit aspects of Corporate Sales/Disposals
- DB and DC closures/wind ups
- TUPE/Harmonisation
- SSAS/SIPP
Main responsibilities**:
- Supporting change to ensure client service provision continually evolves alongside the ever-changing market and client requirements.
- Assist Senior Management and New Business Consultants to manage portfolios, so that overall client goals are met in accordance with specified objectives and constraints.
- To encourage cross-team working.
- Build positive, lasting relationships with clients.
- Provision of specialist strategic pension and employee benefits advice at Board level to corporate clients
- Responsible for formulating complex, bespoke employee benefits solutions addressing the issues facing employers of all sizes
- You will assist in development of commercial strategy and initiatives to support ongoing and future corporate objectives
- Income generation from the sale of bespoke Pension and Benefit solutions to corporate clients to achieve agreed targets
- Activity that identifies corporate pension, employee benefits, group risk and employee consulting opportunities within existing and new corporate customers
- Responsible for driving and generating sufficient activity and client contact to achieve targets and income generation
