Yard Foreman

Our client in LS11, Leeds is looking to recruit a Yard Foreman for a temp to perm role based out of their storage and distribution site

**The work will involve**:

- Managing a small team of around 4 staff
- Organising rotas for staff and approving holidays
- Loading & Unloading vehicles with stock ready for delivery
- Storing and securing goods safely
- Maintenance of the yard and equipment
- Operating FLT's and also manually loading goods
- Mainly Outdoor work involved

**The working times and pay**:

- 9 hour days between 06:00-20:00 dependant on volumes and job times
- 1 hour breaks split as 2 x 30 min breaks, one is paid, one unpaid
- Monday to Friday with Saturdays 06:00-12:00 required on a rotational basis
- £15.00 p/h
- Overtime paid daily after 9 hours at £17.10 p/h

**Skills/Experience Needed**:

- Management Experience
- First Aid Trained
- Counterbalance FLT Licence and experience operating essential
- Reach FLT Licence also a plus but training can be provided
- Previous experience working in a yard environment preferred

**Job Type**: Temp to perm

**Salary**: £15.00-£17.10 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
