Golf Ranger

Ranger required to work at Riverside Golf Centre, Nottingham, NG7 2SA.

**Job Overview **:To oversee the smooth operation of play on adventure golf or driving range by ensuring golfers abide by a company rules and regulations, and also by making sure the grounds are properly maintained. They serve as liaisons between players, management and other employees, communicating any feedback from golfers and handling emergency situations that arise. As one of the front-line employees in providing customer service, rangers are expected to be friendly and courteous, and possess excellent communication skills.

Early morning, Evening and weekend shifts are required and necessary due to being our busiest times.

You need to be reliable and able to adapt to situations as and when required.
- Mowing greens using ride-on machines and specialist hand mowers.
- Treating greens to ensure consistent playing surfaces.
- Using environmentally friendly treatments to control weeds, fungal diseases and pests when instructed to do so by supervisors or management.
- Operating and maintaining machinery and tools.
- Range ball picking
- Assist with efficient maintenance of equipment, machinery, carry out minor repairs and routine maintenance as appropriate - reporting defects/problems promptly. Liaison with Health and Safety Officer when required.
- Overall maintenance of adventure golf course, driving range and grounds

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
