**Salary**: £70,000 to £75,000 per annum + private healthcare, 25 days annual leave plus public holidays

We are a supporting a leading construction consultancy, focusing on delivering infrastructure projects for clients in the public and private sectors. Our client is passionate about meeting the needs of their clients, delivering high-quality solutions, and building long-lasting relationships. They are now seeking an experienced Associate Director to join their team, leading their work in highways and transportation.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

- Leading the project management team, ensuring project deliverables are met to a high standard.
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities, including bid writing and tendering
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners
- Overseeing projects from cradle to grave, ensuring they are delivered on time and to budget.
- Managing project risks and issues, providing regular updates to the client

**Requirements**:

- At least 10 years' experience in the highways sector, with a track record of delivering successful projects
- A strong understanding of local authority and transport networks
- Proven experience in business development and winning work
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead a team of professionals
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
