**Overview**:
Build the network of businesses, organisations and individuals involved in the sustainable food system local to the Dyfi Biosphere area of mid-Wales, concentrated in Aberystwyth and North Ceredigion, as part of the ‘Tyfu Dyfi - Growing the Local Food Economy (Ceredigion)’ project.

**Duties**:

- Promote the virtual shop ‘Bwyd Dyfi Hub’, encourage greater involvement, and expand its use.
- Consult, consolidate and expand the use of the Blas Dyfi Taste brand, including developing associated standards.
- Engage with the diverse actors involved in the local food system, e.g. producers (primary and secondary), retailers, hospitality, and build support for the vision of agroecology and greater cooperation to achieve mutual benefit.
- Outreach and build the network of organisations cooperating in supply chain coordination - collections and deliveries.

Work closely and communicate with other members of the Tyfu Dyfi team to ensure stakeholder engagement opportunities are recognised, acted upon, and the benefits to the project maximised.

**Essential characteristics**:

- Experience of organising and encouraging participation in community events & activities
- Experience of marketing and promotion.
- Understanding of, and interest in, sustainable food production and local producers.
- Excellent teamworking, interpersonal, communication and networking skills.
- Excellent organisational skills including attention to detail, record keeping and data management.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision; self-starting and proactive and showing initiative.

**Desirable characteristics**
- Ability to work and communicate in Welsh and English.
- First hand knowledge of the local food system.
- Connections to the local agricultural community through work, culture or socially.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £13,745.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.5 per week
