Warehouse Assistant

We have been serving customers in Essex and across the UK since 1994, we are still an Essex based family lead logistics business, offering a comprehensive range of same-day, overnight, UK Pallet Distribution, European Road freight and international delivery services, and as part of the UK's largest parcel network provider APC Overnight we are able to serve customers across all sectors and modes to help to optimise their supply chains.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Unload parcels from vehicles maintaining a high activity level whilst using safe working methods.
- Accurately load parcels on vehicles ensuring maximum utilization of space and proper securing of load.
- Ensure that packages are correctly handled and stored to avoid damage.
- Assist in the electronic scanning of all parcels using a handheld scanner.
- Undertake other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Manager.

**Monday to Friday 6.30 - 10.00 / 2.00 -6.00**.. **Plus 6.30 - 3.00 Thursdays**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.52 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Courier Parcel: 1 year (preferred)
- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
