**Job Purpose**:
You will be part of the Technical Programme Management team, responsible for working with Design, Manufacturing, and Operations to successfully deliver Zephyr Products (Aircraft, Ground Systems, Payloads, and Service Management Systems) into service, enabling world leading stratospheric solutions.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our growing PMO team. The Project Planner will play a crucial role in coordinating and planning various projects to ensure they are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget throughout their project life cycles.

The Project Planner will be responsible for maintaining the programme high-level timing plan, monitoring programme status, facilitate project gateway reviews, support the budget management process, and create comprehensive reporting documents.

**Responsibilities**:

- Project Planning:

- Develop and maintain the programme integrated master schedule, showing major milestones and deliverables.
- Perform programme schedule analysis to ensure critical paths are defined and analysed, and interdependencies between the different projects are monitored.
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams (PMO, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Procurement, Logistics) to achieve alignment on the programme targets, timing plan, and resource allocation.
- Project Performance:

- Develop project key performance metrics to analyse and track the integrated master schedule and cost, whilst measuring project performance.
- Support the PMO Manager and Programme Manager to ensure resources are appropriately allocated to projects in progress, enabling projects to be executed optimally.
- Support the identification of project risks and issues, propose mitigation measures, and continuously follow up on mitigation actions to ensure they are effective.
- Budgeting and Cost Estimation:

- Work with departments heads, Finance, and the Project Managers to facilitate the development, monitoring and reporting of project budgets and spend. Providing a clear status of programme and project cost performance.
- Proficient in budget processes and project cost estimation methodologies.
- Project Communication and Reporting:

- Establish and maintain project stakeholder maps and communication plans to outline communication strategies.
- Contribute to the creation of regular project reports as per the programme drumbeat.
- Continuous Improvement:

- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of best practises within the project management framework.
- Embrace digital transformation and automation to streamline project management processes.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Qualified to degree level, or equivalent working experience, holding a recognised project management accreditation.
- Proven experience in delivering project planning processes aligned to industry standards.
- Communication and collaboration, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Advanced knowledge in use of MS Project and Project Online.
- Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry ideally, but other industries will be considered.
