Automotive Colour Laboratory Specialist

As an Automotive Colour Laboratory Specialist, you will create new automotive colour matches that will be available across the globe and work closely with some of the most famous brands in the automotive industry.

This position will be perfect for someone who is creative, hands on and has a dynamic approach.

Working hours:
07:30-15:30 Mon-Fri plus 14:00-22:00 Mon-Fri around 1 in 6 weeks after initial training period.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Create high quality colour matches for individual clients and all major motor manufacturers.
- Manage priorities effectively to support best in class customer service.
- Effectively produce paint samples to a high standard.
- Use a range of technical equipment, such as microscopes and spectrophotometers, as well as inhouse software, to improve and create paint formulas.
- Acquire a high knowledge of pigment characteristics to enable accurate colour matching.
- Work as part of a team to ensure business goals are achieved.
- Contribute to the assessment of new products and colour matching techniques, working with personnel from a range of locations and business units (R&D, Technical Research Centres, etc.).

- High attention to detail and accuracy within data, written, and practical work (essential).
- Ability to effectively manage your time and workload. Excellent time management (essential).
- Comfortable using and learning internal computer systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and be comfortable in both a team and individual dynamic.
