With so many exciting projects on the go, we are looking to expand our team and have a vacancy for a Composites Production Supervisor to provide expert level advice and support to the Composites technicians in establishing an adequately productionised environment in time across the areas of Composite trimming and bonding.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

- Responsible for the execution of appropriate ‘production’ practices for each project
- Responsible for the continual monitoring of status and achievement to plans.
- Responsible for contributing to Risk assessment generation and maintenance.
- Responsible for the generation of adequate process instructions outside of engineering technical requirements.
- Lead by example in terms of health and safety
- Responsible for the escalation of issues affecting delivery of vehicles to plan.
- Responsible for leading the company 5C problem resolution activity for the composites area.
- Responsible for 5S auditing and reporting within the composites area.
- Responsible for data capture and analysis relating to safety, quality and delivery issues.
- Responsible for monitoring waste/scrappage within each area.
- Involvement in the creation of a motivated production environment.

In terms of experience, we need you to have:

- Experienced in the challenges of leading a team within a composite manufacturing environment.
- Experienced in Health and safety legislation and practices and basic employment law
- Experienced in generation and control of risk assessments.
- Experienced in problem investigation techniques (8D/5Y).
- Ability to demonstrate ‘best practice’ in a production environment.
- Ability to identify appropriate measures relative to the business requirements.
- Computer literate to MS office advanced level.
- Assertiveness and willingness to challenge the status-quo.
- Ability to install good practice into new production areas.
