**Opportunity**:
**Senior SHE Advisor on the Northumberland County Council new stations framework. The main office base will be out of the Newsham offices in Blyth; however, the project is multi-sited so travel between the sites is required.**

The Senior SHE Advisor will provide expertise and direction ensuring the continuous improvement to safety, health, and environment, (SHE) performance and promote a positive SHE culture. They will be responsible for the monitoring of compliance to relevant legislation, company policies, processes, and standards to minimise risk and to maximise efficiency in line with our philosophy of Perfect Delivery. Promoting standards in line with our Responsible Business commitments

**To be successful in this role, you will**:

- Hold NEBOSH certificate or appropriate Health and Safety qualification
- AIEMA (Environment)
- Specific knowledge of management systems
- Auditing experience
- Experienced in the design and delivery of safety training programmes and
- CMOISH - Could be working towards or be GradIOSH
- Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation
- Self-motivated, to constantly improve upon established safety standards
- Knowledge of risk management
- Knowledge of occupational health and behavioural based safety
