Dementia Assistant

The Dementia Assistant will work in conjunction with and support the clinical teams by providing practice and administration support to the delivery of CQUIN standards in addition as a secondary role to providing daily administrative support on a daily basis.
The Dementia Assistant will also play an active part in the delivery of meaningful activity with patients with a dementia.
To assist the Dementia Specialist nursing team with the delivery of high quality standards of person centred care for adult inpatients within the acute hospitals.
We are a small dedicated team providing support, guidance and care for inpatients with a dementia.
We work closely together with regular time for clinical supervision between the Worthing and Chichester teams.

To primarily work alongside the Dementia Clinical Nurse Specialist, Dementia Specialist OT and Dementia Nurse.
Support the wards by doing activity based work with dementia patients.
