**Role Overview**

Commercial Agency Surveyor based at Mountbatten House, 1 Grosvenor Square, Southampton, SO15 2BZ. The role includes the marketing of industrial and offices premises for sale and to let and acting for clients on the acquisition of commercial property. SavillsSouthampton office is multi-disciplinary, with around 60 staff and covers the central south of England.

A forward looking and friendly team, who work with private and public sector clients on a wide range of instructions including disposals, acquisitions, development advice and lease consultancy, often in collaboration with other Savills teams and offices.

**Key Responsibilities of the Role**
- Carry out market research and development of market intelligence and knowledge.
- Undertake property inspections and the preparation of marketing reports for disposals.
- Implementing agreed marketing on behalf clients.
- Undertaking viewings of properties with prospective tenants/purchasers.
- Maintaining records of applicant enquiries, viewings and offers (knowledge of Agents Insight useful but not essential).
- To be responsible for preparing in advance for client meetings, recording minutes of those meetings and carrying out any actions arising.
- To carry out property searches and assist senior colleagues in providing comprehensive advice to clients
- To assist in reporting to clients and senior colleagues.
- Be articulate, professional and thoughtful with a good telephone manner and good report writing skills
- Identify and progress opportunities for cross selling activities.

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**

**Technical experience:

- **
- MRICS preferred but not essential.
- Numerate and technically competent.
- Excellent IT, problem solving, analytical, negotiation, interpersonal and managerial skills.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.

**Skills and Knowledge**
- Commercially competent and commercial agency experience would be advantageous.
- High attention to detail, well organised and focused - commits to challenging goals and delivers consistently against these.
- Shows the ability to cross sell other services within Savills.
- Excellent relationship builder to generate business: professional and persuasive, with good verbal and written skills, including report writing.
- Be adaptable and above all keen and enthusiastic: confident with a positive outlook, someone who strives for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrates good initiative level and is a self-starter.
- Strong team player: builds relationships and consults with others, quickly establishes trust and credibility.
- Ethical with strong integrity.
- Someone who has innate curiosity and is eager to experiment and push the boundaries of what is possible.
