We are looking for somebody with a mixed skill set to join our team in our busy Otford Bistro/Tea Rooms. You will work throughout the Tea Rooms in a catering assistant/cook/front of house role, the position may include taking orders, cooking, cleaning, preparing food and meals and in some circumstances you may need to assist the catering team further. This is 3/5 days, a part or full time position that will include alternate weekends.

MAIN DUTIES to include:

- To be the face of the charity, bringing it to life for the customers and team
- To lead, motivate and influence volunteers to deliver excellent customer service
- To ensure that the bistro premises are clean and tidy at all times and that food is displayed in an attractive and presentable manner.
- To ensure that staff and volunteers are aware of and comply with company policies.
- To clean the kitchen, including washing kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls.
- To carry out basic food hygiene preparation tasks.
- To load and unload the dishwasher
- To help serve meals to customers
- Any other duties which are consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the post.
