Night Porter

We’re looking for a **Night Porter **who is full of enthusiasm So, if you enjoy evening work, you could be a perfect fit. Ardoch has a small core team based at the venue and as such, your role is pivotal to the success of the business.

The hospitality industry never sleeps, and we need someone to be there for our guests at all hours. From night drinks service to impeccable late-night service, a Night Porter plays a vital role in making sure our guests have the stay of their dreams

We are looking for someone who is able to work from _11pm until 7am_ approx., including weekend nights. Hours will be dictated by the demands of business.

Ardoch Loch Lomond sits in a spectacular location with wonderful views over Loch Lomond and is an 18-bedroom exclusive use meetings & events venue with various events spaces for up to 50 indoors and 120 outdoors. Ardoch was gifted to the Scottish charity CHAS in October 2020, and we re-opened in July 2021. We operate at a 4-star level and as a unique profit with purpose venue, with the aim to build a sustainable revenue stream for CHAS.

**MAIN DUTIES**

As ‘Night Porter’ you’ll be on the front line, delivering top class service. You’ll be delivering attentive customer focused service and enjoy working as part of a successful team.

Your duties will include keeping the public areas of the hotel clean and tidy as well as preparing for the following day’s events. This will include looking after guests until everyone goes to bed and indeed if any guests require assistance throughout the night., general tidying, and preparation for the next day’s events.

You will be solely responsible for the venue and all guests during the shift so you must be focused and attentive, and you will be expected to complete all jobs assigned to you in a timely manner and to a set standard.

Due to the nature and location of the position you must:

- Be over 18 years old
- Be available to work evenings and weekends.
- Have your own transport
- Have a good level of English both spoken and understanding.

**HOURS AND PAY**

We offer a competitive rate of pay at £11.50-£13.00 per hour, and issue rotas one month in advance allowing our staff to plan ahead. Start date ASAP.
