**Job objectives and responsibilities**
- To organise the operations of the nightshift cleaning team and to ensure that services meet the customer requirements.

**Main duties**
- This is a working team leader role on permanent night shift in the ZSC facility at Barnard Castle and the successful applicant will work alongside the staff to keep the standards to a good level.
- To ensure cleaning works are completed following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and other procedures as applicable
- To ensure cleaning work is in compliance with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures, rules and guidelines.
- To ensure all local rules are followed when visiting production areas.
- Take action, in consultation with Support Services Management, to resolve operational issues to ensure that we are compliant in all areas of the business
- To complete all required paperwork correctly, legibly and in a timely manner.
- To ensure a high standard of tidiness is maintained in all areas worked and promptly report any defects in equipment.
- To undertake any reasonable additional requests made by the Management to ensure that the overall contract service standard is maintained.
- To attend training sessions appertaining to the post. The foregoing is agreed but does not represent or imply any form of demarcation.

- Someone who has a flexible approach
- Good leadership skills
- Sound knowledge or proven experience in a similar industry
- Demonstrate knowledge of Health and Safety.
- Be very well organized and to be able to handle crisis and stress.
- Must be able to train team members including new starters to the team.
- Ability to understand an instruction in English
- Ability to communicate and read in English (for safety signs, work instructions etc.)
- Self motivated
- Computer skills
- Good understanding of customer care
