School Caretaker

**Pertemps Education are seeking a flexible School Caretaker to join a friendly small school based in Maldon.**

The main aim of the provision is to reengage pupils with their education, where there is a positive impact as students state that they enjoy their learning. Please see more details below;

**School Caretaker Vacancy Details**:

- School Caretaker- Start Date - Immediate or ASAP- Part-time Hours - 25 hours per week with some 7.00am starts- Position is Temporary with the possibility to go Permanent- Pay - £13 to £15 per hour depending on experience- You will be expected to perform a range of duties from heating, maintenance, grounds, electrical work, plumbing, cleaning, porterage, deal with quotes and outside agencies- Be a responsible Key holder, opening and closing of sites- Learners have SEMH and a percentage of Moderate Learning Difficulties**The following skills are required for the School Caretaker role**:

- Experience as a Site Manager or School Caretaker- Be a car driver as you will be between two sites in Witham and Maldon- Working knowledge of site management and security- You are confident and flexible and able to pick up work unexpectedly
